These stars of VfB Stuttgart can go

Ironically, at the end of the first half of the season, VfB Stuttgart is in danger of slipping onto the relegation spot in the Bundesliga. After the 0: 5 home defeat against FC Bayern Munich, all alarm bells have long been ringing again for the Swabians, which have been significantly quieter after seven points from three games. Regardless of the latest clap in the championship, the personnel carousel on the Neckar continues to pick up speed.

The “Sport Bild” published a whole list of unclear personal details of VfB on Wednesday. The situation is still relatively clear in the current central defense of Marc Oliver Kempf and Konstantinos Mavropanos.

With the former, no agreement was reached on a new working paper, he is expected to leave Stuttgart in the direction of Hertha BSC. Loan player Mavropanos, on the other hand, could be signed by Arsenal for three million euros in the summer of 2022 and resold immediately afterwards for a big profit. A resale of the Greek could wash an estimated 20 million euros into the empty coffers of VfB.

VfB trio can go

According to the specialist magazine, other players in the state should no longer have a future: Hamadi Al Ghaddioui will probably no longer play a role in the plans of the VfB managers around sports director Sven Mislintat and will be able to leave the club in the summer without a transfer.

The same applies to Erik Thommy, who has been on the Swabian list for a long time.

Midfielder Philipp Klement still has a working paper at VfB until 2023, but can also leave the club if a suitable offer is made.

The only VfB professional with an expiring contract period who could probably get another season extension is Daniel Didavi. The 31-year-old has so far played ten Bundesliga games for VfB and has been under contract in Stuttgart for a total of three and a half years.
