The typical L1 team – Day 17 – Football

Triple scorer against ASSE, the Rennais Martin Terrier is the player of the day. His partners Warmed Omari and Lovro Majer as well as Lensois Seko Fofana also stood out this weekend and appear in the 17th edition of the Maxifoot team.

Terrier scored a hat-trick against ASSE.

As in past seasons, after each championship day, Maxifoot makes up its typical team. The best “eleven” and seven substitutes are chosen according to their performance. The incumbents collect three points, the substitutes receive one point.

Replacements:

12. Jean-Louis Leca (Lens)
Lorenz Assignon (Rennes)
14. Andrei Girotto (Nantes)
15. Aurlien Tchouamni (Monaco)
16. AlberthElis (Bordeaux)
17. Jonathan David (Lille)
18. Habib Diallo (Strasbourg)

And details:

Player of the day: Martin Terrier (Rennes)

The Rennes striker was monstrous. Untenable, he showed all the panoply of the excellent scorer: a perfect race in depth on the first goal, a Madjer after a small slalom on the second goal and a luminous strike in the opposite window on the third goal. An XXL performance for the former Lyonnais, who has plans for this match in the company of Majer, three decisive passer on his achievements.

Anthony Lopes (Lyon)

Monstrous. The Portuguese goalkeeper saved his team early in the match with two great saves in front of Hwang. Rather quiet for 75 minutes, he released two other parades, including a phenomenal in added time, facing Niang. Another very big game for him.

Ronal Pierre-Gabriel (Brest)

What a match from the right side! In the first period, even at the height of the opposing domination, the Brestois was always solid against Harit and de la Fuente who tried to take him in the back, the image of this action where he closed the door to the Moroccan. His team having balloons against exploiting, the former Stphanois then allowed himself some projections which brought the danger. With experience, he also helped to keep the score.

Warmed Omari (Rennes)

Another excellent match for the Rennes central defender. Very comfortable, he read the Stphanese passes well to secure his zone. He showed almost frightening serenity with so little experience.

Mamadou Sakho (Montpellier)

The French international takes little bit of his defensive leader’s costume. He won all his Arians duels against Clermont, who never managed to get around him. Small child, the former Parisian takes his ease.

Frdric Guilbert (Strasbourg)

A game full of activity for the Alsatian piston. Very offensive at the start of the game, the former Bordeaux player multiplied their crosses and found Diallo in an excellent position on one of them. He then put a lot of energy into defending.

Seko Fofana (Lens)

Used to be monstrous in big games, the Ivorian midfielder was once again extraordinary in this game. In the strong period of Lens, he literally marched on the Parisian midfield, passing off his opponents for district players. In the second half, he took advantage of Navas’ hand fault to open the scoring. He also offers two caviars Pereira and Sotoca on rather crazy pierces. A monumental match for the former Udinese player.

Jonas Martin (Rennes)

The Rennes sentry was excellent. His judicious placement kept the Breton block high enough to prevent the Greens from putting the pressure on. His openings, as on the second goal, hurt ASSE very badly.

Lovro Majer (Rennes)

An exceptional copy made by the Croatian milieu. Systematically on the move, it has constantly been sought out by its partners to make a difference. And it worked as he was involved on the first four goals with three decisive assists for Terrier and a sumptuous transmission for Assignon on the goal against his camp for Maon. An extraordinary match for the man who is considered to be Modric’s successor in his country.

Sofiane Diop (Monaco)

As so often this season, the Mongolian winger has worn his own. Scorer came in to push Metz, the young Asmiste, very comfortable with the ball, delivered a new decisive pass for Gelson Martins. One of the strong men of the ASM season.

Sofiane Boufal (Angers)

Offensive leader of Angers, the Moroccan striker has struck again. Scorer from a penalty to open the scoring, the SCO player was decisive on the winning goal with an offering for Fulgini. A full game, one more for him this season.
