The Pickleball Rota Club says goodbye to this sporting year with good results where members of the entity have achieved podiums and medals in different national and international competitions, but they wanted to say goodbye to 2021 with a show of solidarity.
Specifically, this club has crossed borders and taking advantage of the stay in Mtsamgamouji, a town that belongs to the Mayotte islands located in the southeast of the African continent, but which is part of the overseas department of France, they wanted to make a donation.

From Club Pickleball Rota they have delivered sportswear as well as pickleball material for the children of the area to enjoy and play. As they themselves indicate, just by seeing the faces of the minors when they receive the gifts, the happiness that this gift causes them is deduced.
It was not the only gesture of solidarity of the year, this club also donated sports equipment to the schools of Rota to promote the practice of badminton, to the Afghan children who arrived at the Rota Naval Base and organized charity tournaments in favor of local associations.
By 2022 they will arrive with more enthusiasm and with the illusion of continuing to work to promote the practice of pickleball in Rota and make the town a point of reference for this sport.
