TRAINING WITH THE KARATE FIJLKAM YOUTH NATIONAL TEAM

Extraordinary, the last appointment supported by the Karate sector of FIJLKAM (Italian Federation of Judo Fight Karate Karate Martial Arts), which, from 27 to 29 December, organized the National Seminar at the Bella Italia sports village in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD) of Kata “forms” and Kumite “controlled contact combat” dedicated to the talents of the youth team nursery for both specialties.
The access and invitation criteria were addressed to the best athletes of the moment for the categories of Beginners (12 – 13 years of age), Cadets (14 – 15 years), Juniors (16 – 17) and Under 21 (18 – 20) for the first 5 classified in the Italian Championship of the respective categories and the first 7 places, classified in the “KARATE 1 YOUTH LEAGUE” circuit, organized by the World Karate Federation – WKF.
The trainings were carried out under the careful guidance of the members of the National Youth Activities Commission – CNAG which includes the President M ° Gennaro TALARICO and the members M ° Daniela BERRETTONI, M ° Andrea TORRE of the Federal Coaches M ° Antonio CALIFANO, M ° Tiziana COSTA, M ° Ciro DE FRANCESCO, M ° Domenico DORIA, M ° Simone GENOCCHIO, M ° Selene GUGLIELMI, M ° Francesco MAFFOLINI, M ° Michela NANNI, M ° Greta VITELLI.
The activity of the Beginners class was conducted by the Under 14 Activity Development Working Group Manager M ° Marco CIVIDINI and the coaches M ° Francesca ADRIATICO, M ° Vittorio MORENO, M ° Marcela REMIASOVA.
In this high-level setting, the youth sector of the ASD Army – 187th Folgore di Livorno, with the folgorini Jacopo CITI (Champion of Italy, bronze medal in the WKF K1 Youth League of Limassol and 7th place in the WKF K1 YL of Porec) Emma FRIZZI (Italian Champion), Leonardo BOMBARDI (bronze medal at the Italian Championship) and Andrea BOZZI (5th place at the Italian Championship), who in these 3 (three) intense days of training, supported with excellent performances the 4 dedicated and targeted training sessions, in anticipation of upcoming international commitments.
The blue / blue fighting athletes (the colors of the ASD 187th Folgore), were accompanied for the entire duration of the trip by the “technician with the stars” Antonio CITI.
In addition, the training sessions were carried out behind closed doors and implemented by the sports body all the procedures envisaged for safety purposes, with the implementation of measures to combat and contain the spread of Covid-19, to guarantee of the important moment of individual and competitive growth of the young promises of Italian Karate.
