Returning to activity in the final stretch of their participation in the Showcase Cup, the Capitanes of Mexico City achieved their third victory in the NBA G-League by beating Birghimnan Squadron 123-114.
The team led by Ramón Díaz had found stability and managed to impose conditions while maintaining control of the game and the scoreboard for a good part of the match. Again it was Alfonzo McKinnie who led Capitanes to victory with 30 points, 11 rebounds and 1 assist. Justin Reyes had 30 points and Garly Sojo from Venezuela had a good participation with 15 points and 4 rebounds.

In this match, the Mexicans ran out of minutes, Fabían Jaimes and Moisés Andriassi stayed on the bench and we hope they can have minutes in the team’s next matches.

Capitanes have three more games left in the Showcase Cup, his record will no longer be enough to get into the playoffs, but he will end the season facing the Boirmingham Squadron on Tuesday, December 7, 10 and 11 against Greensboro Swarm and in January he will collide with the G-Leaghue’s Ignite team.
