162 archers, from 24 regional clubs, invaded the Jean-Rostand gymnasium on Saturday and Sunday for the first archery competition organized by the Balma Arc Club (BAC) this season. An important competition, since it is selective for the French championships. Note the participation of two World 3D shooting champions, even if this form of archery did not concern the tournament. The two archers, David Jackson and Robin Gardeur, competed in the barebow category (see below), grabbing the first two places in the competition.
Also, President Vincent Denhez notes that interest in his discipline remains intact despite a long covid break. “We have found the workforce that was ours before the crisis, he underlines. The club now has 120 members, that is to say the maximum of its capacity. Some have not returned but from new practitioners replaced them. “
