HÜNSTETTEN – Hünstetten (sc). The baseball players from BSC Hünstetten Storm have presented a new coach for the second division team. In the coming season, Lionel Chattelle will direct the fortunes of the hipsters – and also contribute as the so-called “Head of Storm Player Development”. In this role, he should ensure that the association establishes an “education and training philosophy at all levels that focuses on supporting individuals in achieving personal goals and teams in learning, developing and achieving their potential”, such as the BSC explained. While Chatelle, with a view to the second division team, should also work on creating the prerequisites for being able to play in league one in the future.

Chatelle, who was previously connected to the Storm, most recently Arlen Barrera coached the second division team, can look back on an illustrious career in baseball. After his own active career, he coached various teams and was also a scout for the New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays for the European area. Both teams play in Major League Baseball (MLB). In Germany he also worked as a manager of the Bonn Capitals and the Bad Homburg Hornets. An experienced baseball enthusiast who should be well networked in the baseball scene in the USA as well as Europe and Germany.
