DSV Leoben has landed a well-known transfer – at least in Styria. Ex-Sturm-Meisterkicker Timo Perthel joins the traditional club.
In the 2010/2011 season Timo Perthel celebrated the championship title in the Austrian Bundesliga with SK Sturm.
The loan player at the time returned to the club Werder Bremen, but was unable to assert himself sustainably. The left-back kicked at Hansa Rostock, MSV Duisburg, Eintracht Braunschweig, VfL Bochum and 1. FC Magdeburg.
After half a year without a club, the 32-year-old is now returning to Styria: Perthel signs with DSV Leoben in the Styrian regional league.
