December is traditionally the month that associations and Badminton Netherlands complete the administration of the current year. Because all invoices to members have been sent out for a long time, many associations wait until the start of the new year to register new members. Many associations do this so that they no longer have to send them an invoice for this one month. What many associations do not know is that they will not receive an invoice from Badminton Nederland for all members who register in the month of December!
We would therefore like to ask you to register all new members in the month of December. This is because the government looks at how many members are members of a union on December 31. Badminton Nederland receives a subsidy based on the number of members. So the more members, the more subsidy, the more Badminton Netherlands can do for its members!
Not only are there advantages for Badminton Netherlands and its associations, there is also an advantage for members to be registered:
• children up to the age of twelve participate in the racket promotion and receive a discount code;
• all members can order discounted tickets for the FZ Forza NK;
• all members can make use of the Zilveren Kruis offer (discount on the health care policy);
• members can register for the new doubles competition;
• members can already register for tournaments.
