Fenerbahçe Beko wins against Monaco in EuroLeague playoff opener

Fenerbahçe Beko started the match with three-pointers from Hayes-Davis and Dorsey and was ahead 10-6 in the 5th minute. Monaco recovered quickly and scored consecutive scores under the leadership of James, and finished the first quarter ahead 21-19.

The yellow-dark blue team recovered with Biberovic’s three-pointer after the break and was ahead 85-78 in the last 2.5 minutes with the same player’s outside shot. Fenerbahçe Beko, who scored with Papagiannis in the painted area in the remaining part, won 89-78 on the court.

The fourth match of the play-off stage will be played in Istanbul on Friday, May 3.
