An arrest in flagrant crime in Sezze for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition. The carabinieri of the local station arrested a 30-year-old, already known to the police. As part of the daily information investigative activity on the territory, the military had acquired elements such as to suggest that the man could illegally hold weapons and ammunition. During a home search of the interested party’s home, the 30-year-old was particularly agitated and impatient.
A rifle and a compressed air pistol for free sale were found in the house, but two daggers with a blade of 20 and 10 centimeters, a machete and a baseball bat were also found, as well as a 12-gauge handcrafted rifle made with two concentric pipes from hydraulic pipes, suitably assembled, complete with 20 cartridges. At the time the man did not provide explanations on the origin of the material and therefore, taken to the barracks, he was declared under arrest and, at the end of the formalities, associated with the security rooms of the provincial command of Latina, available of the Pontine judicial authority. All the material found was seized.
Today, December 17, the 30-year-old, assisted by the lawyer Italo Montini, was questioned by the investigating judge of the Latina Molfese court. He answered questions and tried to justify the presence of the weapons and objects found in his home by the military. The judge ordered his release with the sole measure of the signature obligations.
