Serbia beats Kazakhstan and is semi-finalist in Davis Cup

Triumph of the Serbs Djokovic and Cacic against Nedovyesov and Golubev (6-2, 2-6, 6-3), to give the series and the passage to the semifinals to their team. Serbia then defeated Kazakhstan, and will now rival Croatia seeking a place in the Davis Cup final.

Djokovic and Cacic prevail in battle

Golubev and Nedovyesov were at a great level, and would again take advantage of Cacic’s serve to risk the return. The Kazakhs took the set 6-2.

Everything was going to be defined in a defining set. Kazakhstan arrived in better condition after a tennis lift in the previous round. In what seemed to be the moment with the most doubts for the Serbs, an unexpected break would come for them, going 3-2 up and serving. The Balkan duo took security from that advantage, and Cacic raised his level, helping Djokovic. Making a second break, Serbia sealed their win against Kazakhstan and move on in the Davis Cup.
