Another year is drawing to a close. And that’s not just about Christmas. Traditionally, this is also the time of choice for the sportsperson Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. And so it is again this year.
Specifically, according to the Landessportbund (LSB), the sportsperson, the athlete, the para-athlete, the team, the para-team and the young athlete of the year 2021 are being sought. So many categories in which Successful athletes are available for election, who were nominated by a jury on November 9 based on sporting criteria. This year there are of course some “big” names like Hannes Ocik (rowing), Reno Tiede (goalball), Claudine Vita (athletics), Ramona Brussig (para judo), Hansa Rostock and the women’s volleyball team of the SSC Palmberg Schwerin. Who won the race at the end will be announced at the sports gala on March 5, 2022 in the Van der Valk Resort Linstow. By the way: Not only the nominees can win something. Attractive prizes such as tickets for the sports gala including overnight stay and use of the sauna area on site will be raffled off among all those who vote.
