SANKO Schools Star Boys Basketball Team became the provincial champion in the “29 October Republic Cup Basketball Tournament” between Secondary Schools organized by Şehitkamil Municipality.
In the tournament held at Atatürk Sports Hall; SANKO Schools Star Boys Basketball Team, consisting of Batu Anlar, Arda Akıcı, Doruk Erdoğan, Arda Gürbüzer, Kerem Aslan, Demir Şükün, Yiğit Tural, Aras Kızılateş, Tahir Ilgaz, Efe Tahtacı, Fırat Özmercan, Barış Öztoprak and Kaan Özkök, High School 51-27, Private Civilized Schools 49-24, Private Deva Schools 64 to 40, and Private Individual Schools 71-43 and won the first cup.
Fırat Mümtaz Asya, General Manager of SANKO Schools, congratulated his students and teachers by stating that he was proud of winning the first trophy in basketball on the 98th anniversary of the Republic.
