Román Alberino Silver medal in the South American Badminton team

Until December 5, the South American Badminton Championship is held in Joinville, Brazil.

Roman took part of the Sub 19 squad by teams, which faced the tournament. There he was able to play the first two games, against Brazil and Paraguay.

In the third, against Chile, he was not present. With the national team he obtained the Silver medal, after falling in the first match against Brazil, 4 to 1. There, Roman played twice with Mateo Maira. They lost their match by 21-16 and 21-19.

Against Paraguay, in what was a victory for the national team by 5 to 0. Román again played twice with Mateo Maira, winning by 18-21, 21-19 and 21.19. In addition, he played the mixed double with Ailen Oliva, winning by 21-14 and 21-13. Against Chile, where Argentina won 3-2 and secured the silver medal Alberino did not play.

Activity continues in Brazil until December 5. It will be the turn of the Under 17 tournament. In this case, Román will face the single and mixed double matches, with Ailen Oliva.
