Sergio Ramos’ departure has left a huge void at Real Madrid. It should be clear to the defense attorney who has what it takes to fill it.

Sergio Ramos is still closely following what is going on at Real Madrid. At Concha Espina it is still not clear who is the ideal replacement for the defensive chief who left the summer. Ramos apparently takes a clear stance in this regard.

According to the Diario Gol portal, Ramos has said in his closest circle of friends that he sees Eder Militao ready to follow in his footsteps. Not only that: According to Ramos, Militao has what it takes to become one of the best central defenders in the world.

Real signed the Brazilian two years ago for 50 million euros from FC Porto. In LaLiga, the central defender only missed one game this season in which Carlo Ancelotti gave him a break.

Militao and David Alaba form the sedate duo in the defense headquarters in the Spanish capital. The Austrian came to Madrid from FC Bayern on a free transfer this summer.
