Raptors score 70 in 2 periods and beat Kings

The Toronto quintet had no mercy and gave Sacramento a tremendous beating.


Chris Boucher matched his career high of the season by scoring 17 points, Yuta Watanabe also hit his season-high 12 points and 10 rebounds, and the Toronto Raptors unleashed a 70-point offense in the first two quarters and crushed it. Monday to the Sacramento Kings 124-101.

Pascal Siakam and Scottie Barnes each scored 16 points, while Fred VanVleet had 12 and Gary Trent Jr. added 10. Toronto made 53 shots from the field, a season-high for the team.

Toronto was 4-3 in its longest home game succession of the season.

De’Aaron Fox led the Kings, going 0-3 in a road trip against Eastern Conference teams that also included setbacks in Charlotte and Cleveland. Buddy Hield added 14 and Marvin Bagley III added 12. (Agencies)
