Persib Without Two Pillar Players When Flying to Bali, Robert Reveals Bruno and Rashid’s Conditions

REPUBLIC OF BOBOTOH – Persib Bandung is confirmed without two pillar players when flying to Bali to navigate the second round or draw 4 Liga 1 2021.

Victor Igbonefo and Ezra Walian still have to defend the Indonesian national team in the 2021 AFF Cup final against Thailand, 29 December and 1 January.

In preparing the team, Persib has just one new player, namely David Da Silva.

The Brazilian player has undergone a medical test and joined training together on Monday 27 December 2021.

“Da Silva has joined us after undergoing medical tests which have shown good results so far,” coach Robert Alberts was quoted as saying on the club’s official website.

Bruno Cantanhede and Mohammed Rashid felt the same condition.

“Bruno is also in good condition and will do the same test. Likewise with Rashid. Then on the 1st (January), we will all go to Bali. So, this will be interesting,” added Robert.

The two new Persib players are enough to make Robert Alberts confident in looking at the competition in the second round of League 1.

The Dutch coach is determined to make Persib’s front line sharper than the first round.

“In the first round, we were the second most productive team and should have got a better result in the last moments, but we weren’t strong enough. Now, we changed that and tried to do it again with two new strikers.”
