Olivier Renard attacks the leaders of Standard: “These people are destroying the club and we must put an end to it”

More than two years after leaving the Standard, Olivier Renard has emerged from the silence. In an interview with Sudinfo, he notably returned to several facts alleged by Bruno Venanzi.

“I deny everything that has been said”, retorts Bruno Venanzi. “The roles are very clear. There is only one person who decides what happens in the club. It is Bruno Venanzi”, explains Olivier Renard to our colleagues. “I was never at the origin of any document at Standard de Liège. All these documents are signed by the leaders of the club. These people are in the process of sinking the club and they must be put to an end” , he vilifies.

In our columns, Bruno Venanzi also referred to the former goalkeeper as his “biggest disappointment”. A criticism that does not affect the main person in any way: “I don’t care. He lies to everyone. At some point, if all the people around you are disappointments, maybe you have to get over it. in question, “he concludes, visibly upset against his former employer.
