Nîmes: a mirror sent to Rani Assaf “so that he can look at himself when he takes his share of the recipe for amateurs”

After the Coupe de France matches won by the Crocos against Chusclan-Laudun and Aubagne, a Nîmes had launched a jackpot on a crowdfunding site. He got 90 euros.

After the match counting for the eighth round of the French football cup, which Nîmes had won in the series of penalties, on November 28 in Aubagne, a Nîmois, to denounce the attitude of Rani Assaf to take to amateur clubs its share of the proceeds, had launched a pot on the leetchi site to raise funds in order, he said, “to offer mirrors to Rani Assaf so that he can look himself in the face when he steals the recipe from amateur clubs.”

714 euros in Aubagne, more than 4,000 in Chusclan-Laudun

We remember that during this round, the Gard club had recovered its due, precisely 714.35 euros. A few weeks earlier, after the seventh round, the Chusclan-Laudun club had made a check for over 4,000 euros in Nîmes Olympique. In the Coupe de France, a regulation stipulates that the club which travels is indeed entitled to its share of the proceeds but it is customary for professional clubs to leave the shares which come back to them to amateur clubs.

During this particular crowdfunding campaign, Marc Pagès, the Nîmes in question, raised the sum of € 90. It is ridiculous to share it between Aubagne and Chusclan, as he had suggested. But it is sufficient to buy mirrors. By post, one was sent this Thursday afternoon to the crocodile president. Others will follow for New Years Day and Epiphany.
