NBA Program: One Pistons

It’s the weekend and as often the weekend, we are entitled to games at a very accessible time for us who were born on the wrong side of the Atlantic. This Saturday, the NBA offers us a magnificent Pistons – Rockets from 6 p.m. Thanks Adam, really.

# THE PROGRAM FOR SATURDAY DECEMBER 18, 2021

  • 18h: Pistons – Rockets (on beIN Sports 2)
  • 1h : Celtics – Knicks
  • 1h30 : Nets – Magic
  • 1h30 : Raptors – Warriors
  • 2h: Thunder – Clippers
  • 3h: Bucks – Cavaliers
  • 3h: Jazz – Wizards (sur beIN Sports 4)

# THE MATCH OF THE NIGHT, FINALLY ACCORDING TO US

Pistons – Rockets (18h) : a team on 13 defeats in a row on one side, the penultimate one from the West on the other, frankly it smacks of the inevitable match. We laugh a little because we like it, but believe us that we will be ahead. Because an NBA game at 6 p.m., you can’t miss it. Even if it’s Pistons – Rockets, even if it’s Saturday. In addition, with all this COVID, it’s not bad to stay quiet in front of your League Pass. And then hey, it’s okay, there’s Cade Cunningham on the ground, the Detroit nugget that has been doing great things since the beginning of December. Cade over the last seven games? It’s 22 points on average, with more than 5 rebounds, 4 assists and almost 2 steals and 1 block. Well yes, he was not drafted number 1 for nothing and with the absence of Jerami Grant, he still has the keys. His “rival” Jalen Green is still not operational with the Rockets, but Houston has other not bad youngsters in its roster: Alperen Sengun, Jae’Sean Tate, Kenyon Martin Jr., Josh Christopher or even the future legend. Garrison Mathews, who has quietly taken Danuel House’s place in the Texas workforce. In short, we should have a lot of fun (or not). Last little injury info to keep in mind, Christian Wood is uncertain for the game because of a painful knee, while Kevin Porter Jr. is still out.

# ALSO TO MONITOR

  • Celtics – Knicks are still a classic, although both teams are far from evolving in their ambitions this season. In addition, COVID is making its own in these two franchises with a lot of absentees on both sides. However, when we remember the madness match at Madison Square Garden at the start of the season, we think it can be fun. And incidentally, it will also be Vavane’s return to Boston.
  • Nets – Magic, with a Kevin Durant sitting on the sidelines? Come on, let’s go.
  • The Warriors move to the Raptors without… Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Otto Porter Jr. and Jordan Poole. Youhou!
  • Thunder – Clippers, perhaps the opportunity to see Paul George against his former team and for the first time since December 6th.
  • Bucks – Cavs, not bad this poster, just too bad the Deer are wiped out …
  • The Jazz lost to… the Spurs at home last night. Something tells us that revenge will be terrible on the Wizards.

Not the craziest program, I have to admit. Between posters that are not necessarily dreamy and a list of absentees as long as an arm, there is a way to fall asleep around 3:13. But count on us, we will be in front of the matches, as usual.
