Malaysia coach is worried about the Garuda squad game: the Indonesian national team is different: Okezone Bola

SINGAPORE – The coach of the Malaysian national team, Tan Cheng Hoe, was nervous about the Garuda squad’s performance. According to him, Shin Tae-yong’s Indonesian national team has changed.

The Indonesian national team will face Malaysia in the final match of Group B of the 2020 AFF Cup. The match will take place at the National Stadium, Singapore, Sunday (12/19/2021) at 19.30 WIB.

Tan Cheng Hoe believes that Indonesia is now better than before. However, the 53-year-old coach asked the Malaya Tiger squad to stay focused throughout the match.

“Now Indonesia is different from before,” said Tan Cheng Hoe at a press conference ahead of the virtual match, Saturday (12/18/2021).

“We must play with a focus with cooperation between players and maintain the spirit to be able to win the match,” added Tan Cheng Hoe.

In addition, Tan is also aware that the match against Indonesia is a match that will determine the fate of Malaysia. He also hopes that his foster children can stay focused on aiming for victory.

“This is certainly a very decisive match. I hope they (Malaysian players) don’t appear pressured and stay focused,” he concluded.

The Garuda squad is now at the top of the standings by collecting seven points, the same number as Vietnam, but the Indonesian national team excels in goal aggressiveness. While Malaysia is in third place with six points.
