According to Sportico, and in line with the Forbes magazine barometer, the Knicks are leading the way, with an estimated valuation of 6.12 billion dollars. Just ahead of the Warriors who, like New York, exceed the 6 billion mark (6.03).
A little further, we therefore find the Lakers, whose value amounts to 5.63 billion dollars. Then a gap still widens with the rest of the league because, then, the Nets (3.61), the Bulls (3.53), the Celtics (3.44) and the Clippers (3.16) are more than two billion of the “Purple &” Gold ”.
Note that unlike the Forbes study, Brooklyn is not in 7th place but in 4th place, ahead of Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles.
Then it’s the Rockets, Raptors and Mavericks who round out Sportico’s Top 10 and stand in a pocket handkerchief, with respective valuations estimated at $ 2.79, 2.74 and 2.72 billion.
All US sports combined, we see that the Knicks, Warriors and Lakers are in the Top 5, behind the Dallas Cowboys (NFL, $ 6.9 billion) and the New York Yankees (MLB, $ 6.75 billion).
