The facility has three new volleyball courts after the adaptation works of the facility carried out by the IMD
The Gadir Sports Center has already been remodeled at the disposal of the city’s clubs and athletes who exercise there.
The mayor, José María González, together with the sports councilor of the Cádiz City Council, José Ramón Páez, visited the completion of the works carried out in the sports complex.
The works have been carried out in a period of 2 months, and have had a budget of 45,700 euros.
Highlighting the new pavement that will allow three new volleyball courts to be available. What’s more it will allow the practice of basketball, handball, badminton, futsal, and intensive use.
The stage was inaugurated on Monday afternoon by the Ciudad de Cádiz Basketball Club.
Among other improvements undertaken in said municipal sports center, it should be remembered that the skylights have been fixed and replaced, as well as the adaptation and improvement of the changing rooms, and the sanitary hot water system.
