Hugo Maradona, Diego’s brother, dies of cardiac arrest at age 52

The brother of the Argentine star, who had not had such a striking and brilliant career as Diego, but did have a very outstanding performance in Japan, playing for four different teams, both in the first and second divisions. He spent two seasons at Rayo Vallecano, between 1988 and 1990, and he played more than 60 games and scored up to 9 goals.

Hugo Maradona’s death comes a little over a year after the death of his brother Diego.
