Hidalgo achieved his dream debut – Criterio Hidalgo

Hidalgo’s debut at the Conade National Games (JNC) left nothing to be desired and was positive.

With the harvest of 62 medals, the 2021 edition of the multidisciplinary fair, which replaced the National Competition System, left a good taste in the mouth in this first edition.

The state delegation hung 17 gold metals, 18 silver medals, and the remaining bronze.

As in the last edition of the National Olympiad, judo was the discipline that delivered the most medals, with 18 medals, while the associated fights gave a leap in quality and, with 14 metals, they stayed in second place in the entity harvest.

In turn, swimming secured a place on the podium at the local level and concluded its participation with eight medals; In addition, the discipline had the queen of Hidalgo in the games, as Belén Santolaya and Rivera was the most winner with five medals, and who was rewarded with the State Sports Award 2021.

The last medal was in chess, the work of Ximena Ibarra Mayora, who won gold in the 15-16 year old division.
