Basketball: Congolese Oscar Tshiebwe enters NBA history

Held since February 15, 1990 by Shaquille O’Neal with 21 Rebounds, record number of rebounds in the USA, Oscar Tshiebwe has just broken this glass ceiling at Rupp Arena. Author of a double-double with 14 points, 28 rebounds and 3 steals. The Congolese nugget, Oscar Tshiebwe achieves the highest number of rebounds ever achieved by a basketball player.

Very energetic, powerful, tireless in the field, knowing how to bounce back when needed. This season, Tshiebwe is averaging 16.1 points and 15.5 rebounds per game. And in 11 games, he hit a count of 64 offensive rebounds. The Tshiebwe club ranks 11th overall.
