Ginobili among the best foreigners in history – La Brújula 24

In October, to celebrate the 75th anniversary, the NBA selected the best 75 players in all of its history. This was carried out with votes of personalities, that is, it was not open to the public. The absence of Emanuel Ginobili caused a stir, especially in Argentina and the rest of Latin America, and the debate on whether or not he should be there was generated.

Parallel to that ranking, the renowned information site of the best league in the world, HoopsHype, carried out a vote to define the best 75 that were not Americans who went through the NBA. And there was a place for Manu, as well as for Luis Scola.

The NBA’s four-ring winner with the San Antonio Spurs ranks seventh on the sprawling table. On the list that is based on the percentage of people who shared their vote, Manu had 92%. It is the only one of this that holds a title in the Olympic Games (Athens 2004), NBA (2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014) and Euroleague (2001). The other who achieved the same is the American Bill Bradley.

For his part, further down the table, Luifa appears. The Buenos Aires recently retired from the fields is 30th, with 62.2%. Luifa had his most important step in the Houston Rockets, where he played between 2007 and 2012. He also wore the shirts of Phoenix, Indiana, Toronto and Brooklyn.
