Gazzetta dello Sport: Eredivisie flop can make surprising transfer to Juventus

Juventus is looking for a new striker and has ended up with an old acquaintance for Eredivisie followers. The Gazzetta dello Sport writes that Gianluca Scamacca is in the picture with the Old Lady.

Scamacca played in the PSV youth academy in the Netherlands, which plucked him from the AS Roma academy. The Italian did not make it to the first team, but did make three games for Jong PSV in the Kitchen Champion Division. In his last game for that team, he was shown red.

In the end, the striker ended up with Sassuolo, who let him out a number of times. One of the clubs that temporarily got access to Scamacca was PEC Zwolle, but the tall attacker made no impression there either. Now, however, the status of Scamacca has changed, La Gazzetta also knows.

He is a basic player of Sassuolo and has already scored six times in Serie A this season. He also made his debut for the Azzurri and so Juventus has a crush on him. La Vecchia Signora will have to dig deep into their pockets: the transfer fee would be forty million euros.
