Former soccer player forced to pay $ 38,500 for lost dog

A former soccer player has been ordered to pay 22,400 pounds (approximately $ 38,500 Canadian) to a man who claims to have found his dog.

Ex-Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge offered a reward of $ 30,000 to anyone who found his dog, a Pomeranian named Lucci, who was allegedly stolen from his Los Angeles residence in 2019.

However, a rapper named Foster Washington, known as Killa Fame, reportedly returned the dog to his master without being paid, according to the BBC.

Court documents reported by the English media show that a judgment in favor of Foster Washington was handed down by a Los Angeles court.

The rapper was successful by default since the former soccer player did not respond to the complaint.

In a December 25 Twitter post, Daniel Sturridge sheds light on the events and claims to have offered a reward to the young man who brought him his dog and took photos with him.
