Football: held in check on its lawn, FC Sète has a little lack of juice

The Sétois conceded a draw (0-0) this Friday, December 10 against Annecy, in a match marked by three power cuts.

For the last match of the year at the Louis-Michel stadium, FC Sète had the ambition to sign the pass of five, against an opponent at the top of the table. The results of these last five days will therefore be four wins and a draw, which is still not bad at all …

Too chilly

It was not until the 12th minute to see a first foray from Testud, and in the aftermath a strike from Kashi for the visitors.

The Sétois tried well to react but their attempts were too cautious. Perhaps the wind was too icy … Dzabana tried his hand at a strike, but without success (28th). The same Dzabana, in stoppage time, took the ball in an offside position while Celestine, better placed, could have been dangerous (45th + 2).

A golden opportunity for Annecy

It wasn’t much better in the second half. After a first interruption due to the extinction of a pylon (57th), visitors created a golden opportunity. Kyeremeh entered the box and served Spano. Alone against Pappalardo, however, he struck above (59th). A few minutes later, Dzabana believed he had made the difference following a deflection of Celestine’s head, but the linesman was vigilant and raised the flag (68th).

And the light fell …

We then began to wonder if the match could come to an end when the pylon went out for the second time twenty minutes from the end of the game. But the evening was, in fact, just beginning …

The Seto corner post was in the dark again a few minutes later. But this time the referee followed the general opinion and decided to continue, unlike the flag of his touch judge who found himself with the batteries flat! When it doesn’t want to
