Antwerp won its last Europa League match against Olympiakos on Thursday. Thanks to a very strong performance and goal from Balikwisha, the Great Old sent the Greeks home empty-handed.

Brian Priske decided to drop eight new names in the starting squad. Only Butez, De Laet and Verstraete remained standing. The substitutes seized their chance and played a fine game. As a result, Priske now has a serious luxury problem.

“I am genuinely proud of the boys who took their chance,” said Verstraete at The newspapaer. “I think they made the coach’s choices a lot more difficult.”

Now that the Great Old has been eliminated in Europe and in the cup, it will be difficult to keep everyone happy. “I can’t do that,” said Priske. “Anyone who doesn’t play is dissatisfied, that’s part of the job. Of course the choices become more difficult.”
