Betclic Élite: Monaco wins late against Châlons-Reims

AS Monaco had difficulty in keeping their home invincibility in Betclic Elite on Saturday during the 10th day. Faced with Châlons-Reims, who remained on five losses in a row before the international break, the Monegasques belatedly made the difference to win (90-83) and stay in contact with the leader Boulogne-Levallois in the standings.

For this, the “Roca Team” locked in the last minutes the Champenois playmaker Scottie Reynolds who had already scored 30 points after thirty minutes. And his vis-à-vis Paris Lee, the only experienced playmaker in the Monegasque workforce – affected by the injuries of Mike James, absent for ten days, and Léo Westermann (groin, six weeks) -, scored eight points in the last period to pass definitively while the CRRB led by six points at the end of the third quarter (68-62).

A defensive turn of the screw and a few brilliant shots from Rob Gray and Donta Hall then ensured a flawless success before the big meeting on Tuesday 7 December against Asvel in the Principality for the 11th day.
