Telethon
The association “Bessan à tous cœurs” offers many activities for the 2021 edition of the Telethon. The full program is available on the association’s Facebook page and on the city’s website: www.bessan.fr. On the program on December 4 and 5: walking and cycling, sales in the market, grilled chestnuts from the fire brigade, archery, lotto… and on December 7, dancing at 7 p.m., village hall.
Commemoration
The city and patriotic associations invite to the traditional ceremony of December 5 in tribute to those who died for France during the Algerian War and during the fighting in Morocco and Tunisia. It will be held at the Memorial monument, avenue de la Victoire, on Sunday December 5, at 11 a.m. The glass of friendship will be offered at the end by the municipality.
· Library
The Renée Petit library offers a screening of the film “Norrsken expe”, on the theme of an expedition to the far North. The screening will end with a snack served by the volunteers of the association. The meeting is set for Thursday, December 9, at 3 p.m., at the Raymond Devos room of the Claire Estournet municipal social center. Free entry open to all.
Choir concert
The vocal ensemble “La Tucarella” by Bessan is proposing to make a date for an appointment while waiting for the end of the year celebrations. The group, led by Anne Lesure, offers a choir concert, entitled “Waiting for Christmas”, on Saturday December 11, at 3:30 p.m., Bessan church with Tucarella, Théza’s friendship choir and the P’tits Voices related to Agde. Free entry and open to all.
Agglomeration council
The next public meeting of the Hérault Méditerranée community council, which will be the last for 2021, will be held at the Aimé Péret de Bessan village hall, place de la Promenade, on Monday, December 13, at 6 p.m. The agenda for the meeting can be viewed on the agglomeration community website at the following address: www.cahm.net.
· Mammobile
The Mammobile will be present in Bessan (courtyard of the technical workshops, route de Marseillan) on Wednesday December 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Women who have received an invitation can go there directly. · Village igloo
The town hall of Bessan is already inviting you to note the second edition of the large Christmas market with the igloo village on the Place de la Promenade and its surroundings. The event will take place from Friday December 17 to Sunday December 19. All those interested in exhibiting are invited to contact Emilie Féliu, deputy mayor, at 06 47 60 64 77 without delay.
