Bertan’s stomach virus doesn’t stop him from playing and scoring six points in a Wizards win

The U.S. capital team defeated the Detroit Pistons on the opponent’s field with a score of 119: 116 (27:29, 25:31, 37:26, 17:20, 13:10).

Bertan did not finish the match on Monday due to a stomach virus, in which the Wizards conceded to the Indians “Pacers” with 110: 116 away. His participation in the next match was under question, but on Wednesday the Rujjan could play.

Bertan played for 11 minutes and five seconds, being flawless in all shots – one long shot and three free shots. He also scored one rebound, gave two assists, blocked one throw, made one mistake and broke the rules twice. Wizards and Bertāns scored four points more than threw.

The victory for Washington was snatched by Kails Kuzma, who fired a long shot six tenths of a second before the end of the overtime, making the Pistons lose their tenth loss in a row. For the “Motor City” unit, this is the longest loss series in the last seven years.

Kuzma was also the most successful winner with 26 points, but Bradley Biel scored less points.

Jeremy Grant scored 28 points for the hosts, and Keida Kaningem, the first number in this year’s draft, had 21 points to score eight out of ten Pistons.

The Wizards’ 15 wins in 26 games give them fifth place in the Eastern Conference, while the Pistons, with four wins in 24 matches, are the last in the conference and in the league.

The Washington team will host the Utah Jazz in their next match on Saturday.
