Since last Tuesday, April 23, the group of athletes who are members of the Beauty Queen Cheerleading Sports Club of Villarrica, led by their coach Camila Campos, has been in Orlando, United States, participating in the Open Champions international championship, thus representing the commune of Villarrica and also to Chile.
This “young” group, founded in 2017, is already a national and now also an international reference in this discipline, after in 2023 they were national champions in the junior division and recently obtained the title of Champions in the international competition The Experience – held in Santiago -, achieving the highest score in its category and division there.
PREPARATION
Her coach, Camila Campos, referred to this new challenge. “We have been preparing since December of last year with some nice routines, a delegation of 16 athletes, with a lot of support at the national level, from different other people who support us, who want to know about us, coaches, athletes, so we are super grateful for all the reviews we had of our routine, for the international advice we also had,” commented the leader of this Villa Rican group, who added that “now we participate in this event that is worldwide and we go with high expectations, of knowing what we do our work well, that our athletes are well trained in their discipline.
CHILEAN TOURNAMENT
Likewise, the person in charge of the routines of this Villa Rican Cheerleading club referred to what comes after this international championship and that will have them back to the national challenges. “After this competition the national circuit awaits us, for which we feel very anxious, we have more and more knowledge, we are a coaching staff and also our athletes, we are going to have a year full of presentations in the commune, in Temuco , in Concepción, Viña del Mar, Santiago and, why not, have other international challenges for later,” signed coach Camila Campos.
