Balma. Football: the BSC ends the year on a high note

On Saturday evening, the Balma Sporting Club (BSC) took a breath of fresh air before starting the winter break. On the ground of honor at the Nicolas-Campailla sports complex, Sébastien Mignotte’s men won the match by a score of 1 to 0 against Nîmes. However, after a meeting that was struggling to find its rhythm, it was not until the 90th minute that Thomas Péchart scored the winning goal from the penalty spot. A result which rewards 90 minutes of determination, the group thus garnering three points before Christmas. A welcome success on a soggy lawn which gave the ball sometimes hazardous trajectories and regularly disappointed the players in the match. In this context, let us note the beautiful intervention of the Balman goalkeeper, Fabien Mahout, a few moments from the end of regulation time, contributing to the good fortune of his team.

With 16 points on the clock, the BSC finished the year in the upper part of its pool. Enough to put balm in the heart of the Balman after a checkered start to the championship.

Saturday January 15, the BSC will travel to Argelès on behalf of the 11th day of the National 3 tournament.
