Avangard representatives are recognized as the best goalkeeper and new player of the month in KHL

The Continental Hockey League (KHL) has named the best goalkeeper, defender, striker and new player of November. Two of these awards have been received by the avant-garde hockey players of Omsk, led by Bob Hartley.

For the first time, Shimon Hrubecs, Avangard’s puck catcher, has been named the best goalkeeper of the month, helping his team win seven games in 10 matches. In the month, he handled 94.6% of the throw, averaging 1.6 puck per game. The Czech also kept their goal intact for two games.

Nikita Nesterov, a hockey player from Moscow CSKA, was also named the best defender of the month for the first time in his career. In November, he accumulated 10 (1 + 9) performance points in 11 dues, as well as earned a positive efficiency of +4. Nesterov also performed five forces and blocked his opponents’ throws six times.

The best striker in November was Stanislav Galiyev, a player from Moscow’s Dynamo, who also won the title for the first time in his career. Galiyev helped Dynamo with 10 goals and eight assists in 10 games, out of seven goliem two have been victorious.

The best young player in November was Avangard’s 20-year-old striker Arseny Gritsyuk. The new talent scored six (5 + 1) points in eight battles, as well as a positive efficiency of +2.
