World No. 1 Ashleigh Barty and US Open winner Emma Raducanu will headline the Sydney tournament, which returns to the WTA Tour after a three-year absence and will be played from 9 to January 15th. Barty was a finalist of this tournament in 2018 and 2019.
The Sydney table will feature 19 of the top 24 players in the world. Garbine Muguruza, Barbora Krejcikova, Maria Sakkari, Anett Kontaveit, Paula Badosa, Iga Swiatek, Ons Jabeur and Leylah Fernandez will also be present.
