Dirty evening for the Lakers, largely beaten on the floor of Minnesota and who lost Anthony Davis as a bonus, victim of an unfortunate slip by Jaden McDaniels in the third quarter. The All-Star interior therefore joined the locker room, and obviously everyone was very worried. Especially since Davis had already injured his ankle in the first quarter!
The first exams reported after the end of the game are rather reassuring, but the Lakers are waiting for the return of full examinations before making a decision. Davis will therefore have an MRI and we imagine that as a precaution, he will be spared Sunday against the Bulls.
Anthony Davis has already missed two games recently with knee pain. Wait and see …
