Viterbo – Archived with satisfaction the two home games against Elite and Frascati which gave four points in the standings and a good injection of confidence, for Domus Mulieris the goal now becomes that of unblocking also away and the first good chance arrives this Saturday afternoon, with the Gialloblù engaged in the difficult transfer on the Pink Terni parquet.
This is the match that will close the first round of the first phase in the Serie B women’s basketball championship and, ranking in hand, promises to be a fundamental crossroads in the complicated run-up to the first four positions that are worth access to the Promotion Poule; the hosts in fact, despite still having to recover the home match against Campobasso, have already set aside six points by virtue of significant successes such as the one obtained in Aprilia while the Domus Mulieris chases at an altitude of four and, in case of victory, could hook the Terni girls relaunching the race towards Poule Promotion.
However, coach Scaramuccia’s quintet will need a great performance to hit the two points, as confirmed by the Viterbo coach himself: “Pink is a young but talented team, thanks also to the existing collaboration between the Terni club and Reyer Venezia which brought some girls from the Venetian youth sector to play in Terni. This season they started like this, struggling with Frascati and losing clearly in Roseto, then they changed gears and the external successes against Aprilia and Elite prove their worth. We are not in the best conditions because we will have neither Schembari, out with a knee injury, nor Taurchini who has had an ankle problem. Rotations will be reduced but for this very reason anyone who goes on the pitch will have to give the maximum possible contribution and the key for us will be to avoid those blackouts that have often conditioned us; when you face such fearsome teams you can’t give yourself any misses“.
The duo ball is scheduled at 5 pm and the direction of the match will be entrusted to Leonardo Francia from Narni and Lorenzo Lupetti from Foligno.
