On the eve of the end of the year celebrations, the flagship resort of the Catalan coast is preparing the New Year’s festivities with its feet in the sand, with many activities: village of bodegas, tasting of Catalan products and good times to share with friends and with family. For the more courageous, the traditional New Year’s bath will take place on Saturday January 1 at 11 a.m. Enough to start 2022 in great shape!
New Year’s bodegas: eat well and have fun
Organized at the initiative of the town hall of Argelès-sur-Mer, in partnership with the merchants of Center-Plage and Port-Argelès, the village of bodegas settles from Sunday, December 26 on the Charles Trenet esplanade, and gives meeting with visitors until January 2, every day from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Gourmets will be delighted here, with the possibility of feasting on oysters, tapas, mountain cold meats and other comforting dishes to enjoy under the winter sun. The village also offers free entertainment for young and old: DJ mix workshop, skate park, archery, laser run and sports Olympics! And on January 1 from 10 a.m., it’s New Year’s brunch.
In 2022, we are taking the plunge!
The traditional New Year’s bath will take place on Saturday January 1st at 11am: all those who wish are invited to take the plunge! Each year a few hundred people brave the cold – with a bath in a sea of 14 ° C – and perpetuate the tradition, in a festive and friendly atmosphere. A way to jump in full force in a new year that everyone hopes a little lighter!
