A Moroccan lost his life on Saturday in a fire that broke out in his home, rue d’Os Entrecines, in the town of As Neves in Spain. His wife and their two children, injured, were transferred to hospital for treatment.
The Civil Guard was alerted on Saturday of a fire that broke out in this street. It quickly mobilized four patrols which went to the scene. The Moroccan, who was trapped inside the burning building, died on the spot despite the efforts of health workers to resuscitate him.

His wife and their two children were saved. They were then transferred to a hospital in Vigo, reports The voice of Galicia. One of the Civil Guard officers, who took part in the operation, was also taken to hospital after inhaling smoke.
The victim and her family moved to the city only a year ago and quickly integrated into the community. They enrolled their children in the city’s school, said the mayor, Xosé Manuel Rodríguez.
