The youngsters started the game with concentration and built a double-digit lead in the first quarter (26:15). In the second section, too, the Heinemann boys did not give up and pulled away against the clearly defeated Hagen team up to the half-time break at 59:36. After the break, the game came to a standstill on both sides – the Göttingen team only scored seven points, but only allowed four. In the last section, the young violets managed their high lead and deservedly won.

“We showed a very improved performance today compared to the first leg in Hagen,” said Heinemann after the game. “Although we only had a three-man quota of 21 percent, we decided the game clearly for us because the defensive rotations and the ball movement were right. Overall, I am very satisfied. “- Points Göttingen: Großbach (2), E. Bingert (5), J. Bingert (14), Töllner (4), Börü (12), Bode (15), Nguyen (23), Lojo (5), Kellner (2), Gibhardt (3).
