REPUBLIC OF BOBOTOH – The Persib Bandung squad arrived in Yogyakarta on Wednesday afternoon, November 17, 2021. The Maung Bandung players only underwent light training upon arrival in the city of gudeg.
Relaxing practice for Persib players was carried out around the hotel, where the players and officials of Maung Bandung were staying.
“This training program in the swimming pool is carried out to maintain the condition of the players after a long journey from Bandung to Yogyakarta by bus for approximately nine hours,” wrote the Persib website in its report, Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
“The players need to train their muscles because they sit too much. The program only lasts approximately 30 minutes, starting at 17.00 WIB until 17.30 WIB.”
“Practice relaxes the muscles and is ready to train tomorrow for their first match in the series three against Persija Jakarta, 20 November. The Blue Prince also has up to two days to prepare.”
Persib will play 8 matches in the third series of Liga 1 season 2021-2022 which will be held in Central Java and Yogyakarta.
As in the second series, Persib made Yogyakarta as a temporary base during the match in the third series.
The first match in the third series is against Persija at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, Saturday 20 November 2021.
Then against Persiraja Banda Aceh, Arema FC, Madura United, Persebaya Surabaya, Persik Kediri, Persita Tangerang and Bali United.
The third series is said to be the most steep journey for Persib because some of the opponents they face are strong teams.**
