MOCHA. – Players Warlin Disla (La Cancha) and Juan Guerrero (San Sebastián), were elected as Most Valuable Players, native and reinforcement of the Moca Superior Basketball (BSE) 2021, for their outstanding performance during the regular season, of the tournament dedicated to the minister Administrative of the Presidency José Ignacio Paliza and option to the Banreservas Cup.
Guerrero from Capitale was the most valuable player as a reinforcement, receiving a favorable vote for his performance with the Red Empire, averaging 22.0 points per game, 17.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
Disla a point guard of great intensity in his game, who helped his team from La Cancha to qualify for the semifinal with a 4-5 record. He enjoyed an average of 13.0 points per game, 5.1 assists and 3.1 rebounds, winning as the most valuable native.
Derek Mejía (Don Bosco), the best Rookie
Derek Mejía del Don Bosco he won the Rookie of the Year award, achieving an impressive season with an average of 12.4 points per game, 3.1 in rebounds and 3.0 in assists.
José García, Leader of the Year
Don Bosco coach, José García, from Santiago, was the most voted for the BSE Manager of the Year award in Moca 2021, by leading his team to the semifinal, by achieving a 6-3 mark, remaining in second place in the fair that has the endorsement of the Dominican Basketball Federation (FEDOMBAL).
Best sixth man and player most progress
Luis Reyes del Don Bosco, achieved the awards for best sixth man and player with the most progress, averaging 11.7 points per game in his work with the yellow team in the BSE.
Stars Quintet
The star quintet of the BSE of Moca, was made up of Warlin Disla, the point guard of La Cancha, Luigi Rojas defense shooter of José Horacio, Yermenson Bencome of La Cancha, was the small forward, Juan Guerrero San Sebastián, power forward and Adonis de Jesús López of Don Bosco in the center position.
