MAZATLÁN._ At the end of an exciting meeting, the group of Bulls of Acuña de Coahuila added a valuable victory within the Mazatlán Baseball Tournament 2021, held in the port.
A game of great level was the one that was lived this Saturday morning in the fields of Muralla Sports Club, where the box Bulls of Acuna won by a score of 7-5 a Dodgers El Tiro de Mazatlan, in the Senior Youth category.
With this victory, those from Coahuila closed their participation with a perfect step in the group stage, thus securing their place in the knockout phase of this category.
Alexis Favela with a solid pitching managed to lead his team to victory, while the bitter defeat fell on the shoulders of Santiago Soriano.
The most prominent with the wood, by the winning team, were Alex Longoria, Donovan Becerra and Modesto Corpus; while on the contrary, Omar Sánchez, Luis Zambrano and Isael Arias stood out.
In the Senior Child category, Liga Mazatlán advanced to the playoffs phase after beating Gavilanes de Tizayuca de Hidalgo 3-2.
Emiliano Quintero left a remarkable performance to score the victory from the mound, while the reverse went to Ángel Laranca.
In another match of this same category, Guerreros de Apocada arrived firmly and beat Rieleros de Coahuila 4-2 to take away the undefeated step that the Coahuilenses were taking.
