11/23/2021 SOVIZZO – Threatens his wife and children with a gun. It happens in Sovizzo, where only the woman’s quick reflexes prevents the situation from escalating. The man was arrested by the Carabinieri. || A gun. A man who is a father, who is a husband is holding it up. Moments of fear, excited moments in Sovizzo: everything happens in the morning, in the apparent quiet of the home. It is half past seven when a 40-year-old threatens his family with a gun: his wife, however, is not discouraged: with a phone call to 112 she alarms the Carabinieri: while the soldiers of the Valdagno Company are arriving, the woman, taking advantage of the conditions half-unconscious of her husband, she manages to steal his gun and escape with the children and save them. An alertness that prevents the situation from escalating. When the man leaves the house to run after his family, he is blocked by the Carabinieri: he does not offer resistance. The soldiers enter the house and search it, also finding a baseball bat and two hatchets that are confiscated. Arrested on charges of illegal possession of a firearm and aggravated threats, the man was taken to prison in Vicenza. (Report by Carlo Alberto Inghilleri)
