RUGBY L’AQUILA: CHALLENGE ON NOVEMBER 28 AT FATTORI AGAINST ANCIENT, SUNDAY MATCH POSTPONED WITH THE CAPITOLINA

L’AQUILA – Following the move to December 5 of the match against the Capitolina previously scheduled for next Sunday November 14, Rugby L’Aquila will have to wait, to return to the field, on November 28, at home, at the Tommaso Fattori stadium, against Anzio Rugby, who qualified in the second round by finishing third in the Lazio south group.

The meeting with the Capitoline, the Roman team that easily passed the first phase, placing first in the Lazio North group, has been scheduled for 5 December. Even earlier, the match between Anzio rugby and Capitolina is scheduled for November 21st.

The team from L’Aquila of which Mauro Scopano, director of Aterno Gas & power is president, and of which Massimo Di Marco is head coach, qualified for the second phase by finishing second in the group of the first round at 10 points, behind the leaders Lions Alto Lazio at 14 and in front of the Rheatyrus Rugby with 4 points, and the Santa Marinella at 0 points.

Mr. Di Marco comments, “all these breaks do not benefit either the team or our fans, all the more so now that the championship was coming to a head and the competition was getting hotter.”

“The preparation continues with the utmost concentration – adds Di Marco -, obviously recalibrated, giving more space to the physical and athletic aspect, compared to the technical one and the schemes, as happens close to the races”.
