Real Madrid: Vinicius Junior to extend until 2028 – release clause possibly more than one billion euros

Vinicius Junior’s contract runs until 2024. The Brazilian, who is in top form, is supposed to extend it – at insane terms.

The Spanish record champions Real Madrid are reportedly working on a long-term contract extension for offensive player Vinicius Junior (21). The newspaper reports ABC.

Accordingly, Los Blancos plan to expand the Brazilian’s working paper early in the summer until 2028. It is unclear whether the current contract of Vinicius, who says he is still playing with his youth contract signed in 2017, is dated to 2024 or 2025.

According to the report, the release clause anchored in the new contract is to be adjusted from 700 million euros to possibly 1.1 billion euros.

The offer should also be made palatable with a hefty increase in the annual salary from the previously rumored 3.5 million euros to 5.5 million euros – excluding bonuses.

Real star Vinicius open to stay: “Of course I want to extend”

The Brazilian international himself had recently shown himself open to a long-term stay in Madrid.

“I have not been told anything but I am very relaxed because there is still a lot of time,” he said TNT Braziland added: “Of course I want to extend, of course I want to stay here for a long time.”

Real Madrid: Vinicius Junior in top form this season

Vinicius moved from Flamengo to the Spanish capital in the summer of 2018 for 45 million euros and has apparently finally found his top form in his third year with Los Blancos.

So far this season, the right-footed player has scored nine goals and seven assists in 15 competitive games.
